A Georgian mansion built in 1790, Orlagh is truly a unique house set on 50 acres on extensive mature grounds in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, with uninterrupted views of Dublin City Centre, Howth Head and the Irish Sea. We have easy access to everything the great City of Dublin has to offer and are less than 20 minutes to Dublin Airport and less into the city centre but with the beauty of the Dublin mountains just moments away.

The house comprises beautifully arranged and furnished reception rooms with real wood fires, tasteful antique furniture, large entertaining rooms including a ballroom and magnificent dining room and 14 beautiful bedrooms for overnight stays.

We take you out each day to explore Ireland's East and we go to the West too! Cities we visit on this trip is Dublin, Belfast and Galway.

We walk on ancient land in Glendalough's monastic site, Hill of Tara, Castles such as Malahide Castle, Kilkenny Castle, Belfast Castle and Athlone Castle. Estate Houses such as Belvedere House, Strokestown House, we also visit a distillery and a beautiful Church.

We bring you to Dublin city to spend a day shopping, and because we stay in Orlaigh House for the duration of the tour, you can decide to stay in the house if there is a day that you don't want to go exploring.

This tour is based on a group of 20 people.

We have organized music in the  local pubs for our tour groups. These sessions are very welcoming to anyone who would like to sing a song, or dance, or indeed, join with an instrument.

You will hear, for free, some of the finest musicians in the country.  These musicians have travelled the world with their music, but there's nothing like playing in the local pub with their friends.

We will bring you to all the stunning areas only the locals know.

You will see lakes, mountains, sea shores, forests, holy places, and much more. You will meet the locals who might just tell you some stories about where you are.

Relax and take in the fresh air. Go for a walk, take pictures and soak it all up.

On our travels we will see 11th and 12th century ruins of Castles, Abbeys, underground passage tombs, outdoor altars and famine grave sites.

You will go back in time listening to the history of these places.

We will also be bringing you to restored castles and modern gravesites. "Oh but why are they bringing me to a gravesite" I can hear you say. Just wait and come with us, you will be amazed at what you see.
